Name Game

Four Amelia warriors rose to greet the dawn of a new day. According to legend it went something like this.

Warmerama: Mosey around the court house then SSH, DQ, HRM, FM, LBC all X20

Mosey to fields

11s: This is composed of two exercises and 10 rounds. On round one you do 1 of exercise A and 10 of exercise B. On round two you do 2 of exercise A and 9 of exercise B. Do this until your last round of 10 of exercise A and 1 of exercise B. Our exercises were strict merkins (push up with hands coming off the ground) and diamond situp. To make this even more fun the merkin station was at the top of the hill and the diamond situps were at the bottom of the hill. Ouch.

Dora: We had to cut this one short because of time. A dora is traditionally done with two men. One is exercising and the other is running a short distance. They trade off in this fashion till the prescribed exercise is done. Our ambitious plan was 100 donkey kicks, 200 squats, 300 side straddle hops. We cut this one short during squats.

Mosey back to flag.

Numberama, namerama, announcements, COT and Swanson led us out!

Moleskin: Another glorious day in Amelia. The mumble chatter was strong this morning as guys are getting to know each other. 11s up the hill was ambitious and filled with good conversation. YHC also had a few things on the brain. A big part of F3 if you’ve never done it is trying to understand the framework, lingo and unwritten rules. If you have been in F3 for a while a favorite tradition is the issuing of F3 names to newbies (or lovingly referred to as FNGs - friendly new guys). Starting a new region presents some interesting challenges. One of which is that all of the framework and traditions are totally new. Naming is a fun one! Welcome to the Pax Woodstock, Swanson and Boo Boo.
